Our apps
This privacy policy applies to this website and to all apps published under HELGEOHL APPS on the App Store (including LOOPBAR, Image Tailor, watchOracle and Flower of Love).
HELGEOHL respects your privacy. Our apps do not collect any personal data. There are no user accounts, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
Storage on your device
Content you create in our apps (e.g. recordings, images, projects and settings) is stored exclusively on your device. If you use iCloud, Apple may sync this data according to your iCloud settings. We have no access to it.
Anonymous usage figures
We only see anonymous, aggregated statistics that Apple provides to us via App Store Connect, e.g. the number of downloads and users. These figures do not allow any conclusions about individual persons. Apple only provides them if you have agreed in your device settings to share analytics data with developers. Microphone, camera and photos
If an app requests access to the microphone, camera or photo library, this access is used solely for the respective feature on your device (e.g. for recordings in LOOPBAR). No recordings are transmitted to us.
Image Tailor: optional AI features
Image Tailor offers optional features that only become active when you use them yourself:
OpenAI API: If you enter your own OpenAI API key, the app sends your input (text prompts and, where applicable, images) directly from your device to OpenAI (USA) to generate images. The key is stored only locally in your Mac’s keychain. We receive neither the key nor your content. OpenAI’s privacy policy applies: https://openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
Embedded websites: Image Tailor can display the websites of ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) and Google Gemini (gemini.google.com) in an app window. If you sign in there, you do so directly with the respective provider, and their privacy policy applies (OpenAI or Google).
The legal basis is your use of the respective feature (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). You can leave these features unused at any time and delete your key in the app.
SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar and by the lock icon.
Language cookie
This website is available in German and English. To remember your language choice, it sets a single cookie named “pll_language” (valid for one year). It contains only the language code (e.g. “en”) and is technically necessary to deliver the website in the language you selected (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). No other cookies are set for visitors, and no analytics or tracking tools are used.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we use your details exclusively to handle your request and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. As our apps do not collect personal data, we generally do not hold any data about you.
